My First Ever Action Dream

My First Ever Action Dream/Story

It all started with me waiting holding my baby and my mother-in-law sitting on the couch all bags packed. As, soon as my husband(actor/government official) I don't really know, it  wasn't that clear in the dream. So, yeah he came home and then I told him that we were leaving the apartment to go live somewhere else. Because, he's always been coming home late and sometimes he doesn't.

The first thing I'm going to expect is cheating, right? So, I did and he tried to stop us, but failed. I didn't tell where we were going or whatever. The dream later moved on to us moving in/ checking into an apartment hotel. It was quite bold and expensive looking. When we got to out room, we looked around for a bit. It was perfect and big and had a nice view.

As, we were walking around the dining room, an explosion erupted on the side of the building. I let my mother-in-law hold the baby to see what had happened. I got up from the floor and as I walk up to the side I could see only the entire view of the city! There were sirens sounding off and all the windows and walls were gone. As, if they have all vanished.

I looked over to my mother-in-law and my baby using the side table for cover. I tried to think of a way to get out of here, but all the entrances were blocked by the rubble that had fallen over from the explosion. We had no choice, but to wait there till then. I called up my husband and he came running, it was a brief call for I heard somebodies foot steps. He told me to just stay there and that the explosion was caused by a terrorist attack!

He ended the call with "Be safe....and I love you." and at crucial times even the most simplest words can mean everything. I  wiped away my tears and said  "I know, I love you too." As, I closed my phone' the footsteps where getting stronger and louder. It could be the terrorists I thought. I made a shh sound telling my mother-in-law to be quiet, but my baby started to cry. It was no good. My mother-in-law tried to clam him down on the side as, I looked closely at the rubble. I pulled my gun out  of my purse.(I keep for protection)

I inhaled slowly, ready to shoot my targets foot when I saw it was just one of the doorbell people looking for some survivors and hotel residents. I laid my gun down in relief as, I was gonna get up from our hiding spot. I heard a gun shot_______/\_______/\/\/\/\/\/\/\______ our only hope in escaping was killed to death. I went back under the table and peeked again, it was the terrorists, alright. They had guns and explosives all around their vests and suitcases too.

Some of them wore disguise, I couldn't understand a word they were saying, but one definitely said "Check the room, at 10 AM this building is going to go down." In shock I covered my mouth as I stopped my myself from gasping and I could feel tears run down my face. I looked again to my back and saw my mother-in-law and baby barely holding their composure from the hot and smokey air around us.

I had to do something, but one against five; even my small gun couldn't do much harm to them nor protect us. So, I decided that we had to move towards the living room quietly. As, they moved towards us we took a few steps into the nest room. There we found closets that could hide ten people inside. It was covered too. I locked it and just to make sure I blocked the doors with coats and suitcases so, that nobody can notice our appearance.

The coats made it hot in the closets that you could hear us breathing. Me and my mother-in-law both drank the water I had inside the baby bag. I called my husband again and told him everything that had happened and the information I got. He said he had contacted his team and other officials, including the police and they were all on standby outside. And, that he had gone into the lobby with some bomb experts and soldiers. He asked for the number our room and floor.

"Room 140, floor 25th." I whispered. In the background I could hear people shouting and adjusting of guns. I said again this time with a little crack in my voice "Josh~please, hurry. I'm scared." I sobbed. Right, before I could hear him say something the call was cut off. If it wasn't the signal perhaps it was the terrorists doing. I didn't complain for I already gotten all the information through.

After a few minutes the door was broken down in half and fire was exchanged. I covered both my mother-in-laws ears and mine as she held onto little Christopher's. After awhile we were evacuated at once. We were all checked for possible wounds and injuries, thank god there was none. We all were scattered in the streets told to stay back for another bomb could explode at any second. As, the bomb experts worked in the building.

Wrapped in a white blanket looking above tot he hotel building. It was something I could never forget in my whole entire life. I remember the smell, the footsteps, the sound of the explosion hitting us to the ground, and the color of the blood that was lost by many lives. I stood there trembling, still holding my gun at hand. My husband came to my side after he gave an officer instructions. He looked to the side then back at me and took the gun out of my hands and wiped it clean.

I looked up at him and told him that "We could have died in there. Chris and I and Donny could have died, Josh." I said. He hugged me tight and kissed me on the forehead and on the head. "I know, baby. I know, I'm so sorry." He told me, as I began to cry in his arms. All his co-workers could just stare in silence and observe. After an hour, I had calmed down we all watched from T.V.'s and heard on radios. But, for me I was watching it happen before my very eyes.

We all stood still then we saw a yellow side of the bomb experts sleeve and he gave a thumbs up as he used his other hand to wipe his sweat. The crowd at the bottom cheered in joy and we all smiled and laughed as a sign of relief and comfort. All the officials could breathe again, and some weren't so lucky. They were taken to the hospitals, but later died as I saw one lady get the news from the police officer. She fell to her knees screaming in tears. I let go of my husband and walked over to her and hugged her tightly and cried with her.

Soon, the whole crowd began to sing in chorus, for the mourning of the woman's child. She was only six, they said. Out of the victims she was the youngest. Later that afternoon as we got home, everything was back to normal. We moved back into our old apartment which felt right  at home. As, we unpacked the last of our things. My husband got another call for him on duty. I looked at him sadly and just continued to unpack. He closed his phone put it into his pocket then walked over to me. "I think I rather set this out." "What are you saying, you should go. After all people need you." I said holding his face.

He put his hand onto mine and insisted he staying and that he has made up his mind. I let it pass for today, for I wanted the whole family together. He pulled me in and I almost dropped the lamp. "Not so fast." I said. "The baby remember and you're Mom." I looked at him with one eyebrow up. Next thing you know, Donny come's  out with Chris is his stroller and all ready to go to the farmer's market. "Don't worry about us. We'll be heading out now." She winked as she closed the door.

Josh looked at me "Well, no baby and definitely no mom." He swayed holding my hands. I gave in and we both went into our room and closed it shut.

One Year Later....

"Honey!" I shouted.
"Yeah." He answered from the couch into the family room, he sat reading the paper as, one year-old Chris played with his baby set lego's.
"I'm Pregnant." I smiled nervously.
It took a long pause then we both looked at Chris when he said "Mama Dada Grama..Baba?" He titled his head. Then smiled and giggled at the thought of having another sibling.

END
